Command to go to the parent directory

Hi,

I have been using WINSCP recently and it is a very nice tool.

I have a question. How can I go to the parent directory command line??????
I need the command to go the parent directory

I felt silly.

I tried cd.. before I posted on the forum.
I did not try it with a space in between.
