Advanced Site Settings: Network: Disable IPv6 / IPv4 Connection Attempt
Hi,
when trying to connect to a WebDAV provider (defined by DNS Name), Client Certificate (and Certificate Password) WinSCP receives both IPv6 and IPv4 Addresses from the DNS Bind Lookup. The WebDAV provider has not enabled IPv6 and also does not react to the request, hence there is a long timeout (20–30 Seconds), before WinSCP attempts the connection via IPv4.
Hence it would be useful to have a parameter in the Advanced Site Settings to disable the connection attempt via IPv6. For consistency reasons there should be a parameter to do the same for IPv4?
