Slow/crash with directory containing ~130,000 small files

Hi,
Thank you for working on WinSCP and for releasing it as open source.

I've started working with an FTP folder that has ~130,000 small files in it (~70Bytes each). WinSCP with stops responding for several minutes or crashes on trying to connect to this folder. I've tried Filezilla and Double Commander and they can open the folder after ~10 seconds. Is this a known issue? What debugging info would be helpful?
