can I avoid using SMB ?
Hi all, my request is not about a new feature but I could not find any better place to leave this request for help.
I'm using WinSCP in a Win10 laptop and use WinSCP to connect a terminal session to a Linux RHEL 6 server. I'm also using Putty sometimes for the same.
For just doing this, would I need SMB (which is SMB1 / CIFS in this case) to do this or can I shut down / disable SMB1 on the Linux machine and still do what I do today?
Much appreciated if someone can advise.
Paul
