utf-8

Maybe I do something wrong, but WinSCP doesn't show my utf-8 filenames correctly.
I searched previous postings and found that scp doesn't support that. Is it possible to do filename conversion on the client side ? Is there some principial problem in this approach ? Is it on the wish-list ?

SCP is an obsolete protocol. I do not plan to implement character set conversion (and associated tables) just because of it, once SFTP supports UTF-8.
