Sorting files by type (files containing only the extension in the name)

Good morning
I have a suggestion to change the sort method for sorting by type

At the moment it looks like this:

From a logical point of view, this is obviously the right way, but if we think about it deeply, I see some confusion here (about files with .dot only)

OK, let's look at Total Commander now:

Files with the .dot extension are first
It makes work much easier

Visual Studio Code, PHPStorm, they also use this method:
