How to stop displaying hidden files and folders in the local directory

I tried to use exclude filter like this:
but it not working

Ctrl + Alt + H is not a solution for me because I still want to see hidden files and folders in the remote directory

Can I do it somehow?

There's currently no way to hide hidden files selectively in one of the panels only.
