Error getting name of current remote directory - CAsyncSslSocketLayer::InitSSLConnection

When I use the Open Terminal functionality to run a command, sometimes the command takes a while and the terminal screen times out (pop up window says "Host is not communicating for more than 15 seconds. Still waiting..."; then gives 60 seconds before terminating the connection). After the terminal window closes and I'm back to regular WinSCP, anytime I go to a new directory on that server I get this error message until I close the connection and reconnect.
