Authenticating with pre-entered password – access denied

I am using WinSCP to login to a server using SFTP.
I am getting an error authenticating with pre-entered password access denied.
I reset the password several times.
Can you help?

Can you login with any other SFTP client?

I tried using FileZilla but getting an "Authentication error".

So please contact your server Administrator. You do not have a problem with WinSCP, but with an authentication to your server.

Hi, I met the same issue and got solved by this way: create a new non-administrative Windows account on the server, then connect the session using this account name and password, succeeded.
Suppose Windows does not allow remote access by Admin account for safety concern?
