Pausing background transfer

I am looking to see if it would be possible to add the ability to pause background transfer? This way if some other transfer is more important, it would be able to take up more band width. Currently the transfer has to be stopped then restarted.

I do like the ability to restart un-finished files without re-transfering what has already been done.

Thank you

I'll consider this.

WinSCP supports transfer resume (for SFTP protocol only). As long as partially downloaded file (*.filepart) exists in the target directory, transfer resume is offered.
