Transfer Error when uploading a lot of small text files

Seem to be getting "Passive data channel timed out" errors every so often when uploading the same 33 text files. I've tried all the solutions I could find here in the forums, had been using an older version and upgraded it, but still getting the same problem. Sometimes happens when uploading *.zip as well. The big problem is that once the error occurs, the script continues on having only done a number of the files, and so there is no indication to our automated task whether the FTP upload has worked successfully in full or not.
