2. go to another directory on server
3. server starts to think...
4. make a new session and connect to the same server again
5. error message

Maybe there is some kind of server timeout, but I did not see a prompt to reconnect.
Anyway, this is not a severe bug and I can easily ignore it.

I have sent you an email with a debug version of WinSCP to the address you have used to register on this forum.

It happened after I disconnected from a timed-out SFTP session (my new ISP kills sessions after X minutes if keep-alive isn't enabled), edited the saved connection details (Advanced => Connection => Turn on Keepalives with sending of null SSH packets). Save, and connect. This error popped up but it had connected OK.

Cannot reproduce.

The problem happens rarely. I cannot reproduce it.

I opened a directory by mistake and pressed the 'E' key whilst the directory was loading (there are lots of files in the directory and it takes a few seconds to load). WinSCP asked me if I wanted to abort opening the directory. I confirmed that I did want to abort. WinSCP crashed.
