Automatic files backup before downloading/uploading

Hi,

First of all thank you for creating such a nice software for free.

After that a humble request, can you please provide a feature that automatically rename existing file on remote/local file before uploading/downloading with some pattern like index.php to index_user_7jan14.php

I need this feature very badly, and I think there will be a lot of users who will appreciate this feature.

By the way I am not just one. I am representing a team of 13 persons for this feature.
I think its a good feature for backing up files before drag and drop.
