"Hold Shift key to Move file / directory" option

I searched this forum but couldn't find similar suggestion.

How about implementing "Hold Shift key to Move file / directory" option?

Enabling this option will make draggint doesn't move file/directory unless user is holding shift key down.

A few days ago, one of my web designer moved images folder on production site unintentionally.
It made whole team into panic, because my website doesn't show any images at all suddenly.
After finding images folder just moved elsewhere, I moved images folder back and everything went right.

Long time ago, same thing happened in my intranet file server (someone moved folder unintentionally).

Implementing "Hold shif key to move" option will prevent those kind of trouble.
It does sound great doesn't it?
