Visual transfer progress when minimised

Just like when you download with IE under Win7, it would be great to see a kind of transfer progress bar on the WinSCP icon. Useful when transfering large file and you do something else in the meantime.

WinSCP does not, at least for foreground transfers. Are you using background transfer?
