WinSCP freezes upon upload

This is a strange problem. WinSCP updates a file on the server using the command to keep a directory updated automatically, but it freezes when I select manually the "Upload" command. I have to terminate it, because it never comes back to life! I use v. 5.9.6 (I had the problem with the previous version too) on Windows 10, 64bit.

As you can see in the tracker, the fix will be included in upcoming WinSCP 5.10.4.
