Invalid access to memory - Vcl::Comctrls::TTreeNode::GetTreeView

I do not think that I was even using the program when the error occurred. This error message was on my screen when I came into work.

WinSCP frequently but intermittently crashes while synchronizing.

I have WinSCP running using the following command line:
"C:\Program Files (x86)\WinSCP\WinSCP.exe" "Web%20Folder" /Desktop /keepuptodate
The loaded profile connects via SSH to a remote Linux server. I do have the cache options selected in the Directories panel of the Advanced options. The local folder is also synchronized via Box.com, but I don't know if that has anything to do with why WinSCP crashes.

WinSCP was keeping a remote folder up to date via ssh. The local folder (the master copy) is a Box.com folder.

I'm not sure what caused it, I know I was running code in Putty and I put my computer to sleep at some point. Often times, waking up your computer after it's asleep / hibernated / off will cause the current Putty session to become inactive and the current WinSCP session to need to be logged back in. I've never had this error before though.

WinSCP has not been restarted for a very long time. I'm frequently changing my network connection due to alternate working from office/home. Reconnecting WinSCP always fails on first attempt, then succeeds when trying a second time. I have never seen this error before.

Invalid access to memory - Vcl::Comctrls::TTreeNode::GetTreeView

I had started a Move of ~650 remote directories (each containing four files) to a local directory, then locked my work desktop.
I logged in remotely (mstsc) from my laptop two days later and WinSCP was reporting this error.
May be unrelated, but my laptop is high DPI (the desktop isn't).

The affected Tree View appears to be the "local" (left) one. The right hand one has correctly updated to show no entries (other than ..), the left hand tree view is completely white (no ".." entry, no border, etc.). After clicking 'OK' it seems to have recovered fine.

My laptop went to sleep when WinSCP was open. When opening the laptop again, I had to reconnect WinSCP, but then I got this error (but after typing the password again, I was logged in again).

I suspect it had to do with leaving WinSCP running while I hibernated at the office. Woke up at home - without a good path to the connection open (I did not look at it). Then hibernated at home, waking at the office, where I tried to use it. I don't know at what point in the process it crashed.

WinSCP was connected to a remote host, but the local machine had been closed down overnight (Sleep, rather than Shutdown), severing the session. Resumed the local machine this morning, WinSCP brought up reconnection dialog in the background. Eventually got round to needing to use it after about 45 minutes - normally what happens is the first time you enter the password in this situation, it fails, because the login challenge-response has been open too long and has gone stale. This was indeed the case here, and it failed first time. I then hit (R) to reconnect, entered the password again, clicked to connect and received this error. Normally, it would connect on the second try here without issues.

The error "popped-up" after I had resumed my laptop from sleep. I had hibernated while WinSCP was still connected to an endpoint, and the error came up after I resumed.

Invalid access to memory - Vcl::Comctrls::TTreeNode::GetTreeView

Left the laptop unattended with a open scp session to a local virtual machine, Laptop switched to hibernate.
The used Operating System:
Windows 10 Pro Version 1803 (OS Build 17134.137)

After Recovering from hibernate the following error messages occured:

1. First error message
Network Error Software caused connection abort.

2. The second error message:
