Please note: this is not a critical problem for me, so this mail is just to inform you.
This error probably happens following this sequence:
. WinSCP is open on a VPN connection
. put the computer in standby
... the VPN connection closes automatically
. awake the computer
... the VPN does not connect automatically
. WinSCP takes the following error ...

WinSCP was still open and connected to remote Raspberry Pi when the PC was put to sleep mode. The error happened after the wake-up of the PC, no other interaction with the app.

This is probably a hopeless error to catch. I just started up my laptop. WinSCP was active with an open connection when I put the laptop to sleep. Closing the reconnect dialog gave this error.

I lost internet connection for a split second. The client disconnected and on request to connect again, I declined and that's when this error happened.
