Active/passive mode

Two questions here:

1. The active/passive mode option is greyed out.
   WinSCP version 4.2.7
   How to get it back?

You have to select FTP protocol first.

Issue 669 – Option to enable active mode with FTP protocol in scripting.
you can use -passive=off switch of the open command to switch to the active mode (the passive is the default):

What is default mode if not specify what mode it should use, 2 as in Auto?

@Sopor: The default mode is passive. I do not understand what you mean by the rest.

So there is no Auto for "passive"?

I read that I can use 0, 1 or 2 instead of on, off and auto. That is why I wrote as I did.

No, there's no "Auto" for Passive mode.

As the documentation says, the FtpForcePasvIp2 is for "Force IP address for passive mode connections". That's a different option. That option has "Auto" (both in scripting and GUI).
