Invalid access to memory - Vcl::Comctrls::TTreeNode::GetTreeView

Had WinSCP open for hours just in the background. Closed my laptop lid and 10m later opened it to see this error trace. Not sure what I did or why it happened.

Open WinSCP and connect to a Linux server folder. Leave it open over night and in the morning WinSCP will be crashed.

Invalid access to memory - Vcl::Comctrls::TTreeNode::GetTreeView

Honestly I don't know what happened... I often leave WinSCP idle after using it and during those periods I may hibernate during a switch between home and the office while making/breaking VPN connections either way.

Open WinSCP and connect to a Linux server folder. Leave it open over night and in the morning WinSCP will be crashed.

Invalid access to memory - Vcl::Comctrls::TTreeNode::GetTreeView

When I first saw the message, WinSCP had been sitting idle in the background with a disconnected session (which was working fine before I disconnected the session). I first noticed the error after finished a FTP upload (to the same Web server) with a unrelated Java program. Don't know if that's significant or not. Perhaps the two FTP programs collided somehow.

Left WinSCP open when I put the machine into hibernate (which I frequently use).
When I returned to the app window, the error message was showing.

Started WinSCP. Went to source directory. Saw all files in that directory disappear (don't know if WinSCP did that). Then this error popped up. Never saw this error before.

Win10 (10.0.18363.1441) on a Dell laptop
WinSCP 5.17.10

WinSCP was left connected on an SSH session and the laptop powersaved (standby). I just resumed from standby and had this error.

This is a corp laptop and we have drive encryption, DLP, etc, so maybe it's something to do with that? Or perhaps the NIC was still down? Laptop is in a docking station, cabled connection.

First time I've ever seen an error like this with WinSCP, so, it's maybe a fluke / recent MS update issue?

Chyba přístupu do paměti - Vcl::Comctrls::TTreeNode::GetTreeView

I can see window with Password request to connect to previous session:
Searching host...
Connecting with host...
Autentification...
Using username "xxxx"
Password: field to enter

Winscp didn't crash, just showed error and return to main screeen with visible button "session restore" in right panel. Restore works ok with succesfull login after password enter.

Invalid access to memory - Vcl::Comctrls::TTreeNode::GetTreeView

This error appears to have occurred with WinSCP running idle in the background. I was not actively using it when this error occurred. Note that one or more VPN connections may have been dropped and recreated as I did not detect this error immediately when it occurred. So this may be related to the dropped VPN connections.
