Configuring Session (Login Dialog)

Session is configured using Login dialog that comes up just after the program is started. It can be invoked also later to open additional sessions. On Login dialog the options are categorised to tabs, which are documented separatelly. The tabs with an advances options are hidden unless Advanced options checkbox below nagigation tree is ticked.

When use there are no stored sessions yet, Session tab is displayed by default. Once user stores at least one session on Stored sessions tab, the Stored sessions tab will become default next time the Login dialog is opened.

Once the session is configured, it can be either opened by pressing Login button or saved for future use by pressing Save button.

Tabs available on Login dialog:

• Session (basic session options)
  • Stored sessions (to manage stored sessions)
  • Logging (to enable session logging)
• Environment (server compatibility options, DST, recycle bin, etc)
  • Directories (initial directories, directory cache)
  • SCP (SCP protocol compatibility options)
  • SFTP (SFTP protocol compatibility options)
• Connection (timeouts, keepalives)
  • Proxy (connection thru proxy server)
• SSH (SSH protocol options and authentication)
  • Authentication (advanced authentication options)
  • Bugs (detections of known bugs in SSH servers)
• Preferences (interface/behaviour configuration)

There are also other tasks that can be performed on Login dialog in addition to configuring the session:
