2025-06-26 09:11 Comment – Meanwhile, when upgrading from WinSCP 5.13.2 and newer, it's safe to skip installing the DragExt64.dll (even if the installer is saying it's not recommended).
– Or you can uninstall WinSCP (keeping settings), restart and install the new version.
– Another option is to restart and attempt an upgrade right after the restart, before using Windows File Explorer.
2025-06-26 09:18 Comment The problem existed basically since WinSCP 5.9.2 (Issue 1458). But since 5.13.2 (Bug 1644), the extension didn't need an updated, so the problem was not visible.
