Problem with Swedish Characters

Hello Team,
I have a script performs the file transfer to the mainframe environment and Mainframe environment supports IBM-277 character set.
I tried to transfer the file in ASCII mode that data in datasets is not the same as in the file in windows o/s
Example:
Ä saw as D in the datasets.
I have tried to set the option 1 to UTF-8 but data doesn't look good on target.
Could you please assist us with the solution?

WinSCP cannot do any character set conversion while transferring the files, if that's your question.
