Support for client cert and mutual cert authentication

Hi,

I understand that WinSCP 5.8 supports client certificates and mutual certificate validation (between FTPS server and client), but can't find a way to download it. Could you please provide a link to downloading version 5.8 that I need for some testing.

Regards,

The 5.8 is not released yet.

I have sent you an email with a development version of WinSCP to address you have used to register on this forum.

Hello,

Can you also provide me the version 5.8?
I'm configuring and testing mutual authentication with ftps.
It's not possible to let the ftp client (winscp and filezilla) to send a certificate.

Is there a .NET component as well as client for FTPS?

support of mutual client certificates

Hi,

Just looking at winscp and need to use X509 certificates to perform authentication. Winscp 5.8 looks perfect for this solution? Any chance you can send me a beta copy?

Thanks

Command line for X509 certificates

Hi,

Thanks for the Beta version, I have now found the command to run TLS with the clientcert:

open ftp://xxx:xxx@xx.xx.xx.xx -explicit -clientcert="C:\WinSCP_5.8\cert.pem"

Is there away of changing the initial FTP commands sent via WinSCP as this is causing the connection to close? i.e. to stop the PWD and other commands issued as the session opens?

Thanks

No. If you have further questions, please start a new thread as this is off-topic here.
