Option to add or open new connection from clipboard
Think uTorrent, where when you click the button to add a torrent via URL, it will check the clipboard and add that in automatically.
There are times when I copy a link from one computer (remote desktop) to another (remote desktop again) and it would make life SO much easier if I could click a button where I could paste the [S]FTP link and either add or start a new connection.
Actually what I'm thinking is this. An empty line on the connection screen, where I could either type in an address (full ftp:// style) or paste a link, then click a button to 'parse it' into the connection dialog. Now, if it detects a link in the clipboard, it would sort of 'auto parse' it but allow me to make any adjustments instead of just acting on it immediately.
It would save a HUGE amount of headaches.
Along those same lines, have a "Quick Connect" where the Login dialog box wouldn't be necessary. Again, auto detect clipboard contents to see if there's a compatible link. If so, auto-populate the quick connect spots, so all someone has to do is click the connect button.
Another item... And if this is already possible then.. well.. just tell me. But something like a "winscp://" link where everything after it would be parsed by WinSCP and automatically connect. That way a link could be made that would be specifically designed to load/launch WinSCP only as opposed to another S/FTP client. :)
