WinSCP client: WinSSHD Expired

Hi Friends,

I have been using WinSCP for a month, suddenly when i try to open WinSCP client today in GUI mode. it is giving me a Authentication Banner message:

Your WINSCP evaluation version is about to expire in 4 days". Please visit www.WinSSHD.com to purchase.

I have been using WinSCP SFTP client connection to my remote server to transfer files to remote server.

What is the problem? WinSCP tells, its free open source SFTP client.

Didn't you misinterpretted WinSSHD for WinSCP?

Sorry I was mis-interpretted.

Can I use WinSCP SFTP client without WinSSHD ? Or do I need to purchase WinSSHD from Bitvise to use WinSCP client further.

WinSSHD is SSH server on the machine you are connecting to. I do not know what the machne is, so it is hard to suggest anything.

Thanks Martin prikryl. You mean to say that authentication manner message is coming from SSH server. Still I can use WinSCP SFTP client without purchasing licence.
