Advanced Site Settings Dialog Box Missing Left Side Tree

I have been using WinSCP for a long time. Recently, if I edit settings for a session and select the Advanced button, I see the Advanced Site Settings dialog box, but now the left side tree (e.g. Environment, Connections, SSH, Notes) is missing. The left box is completely empty. I tried to uninstall and reinstall but that did not help. Has anyone seen this before and is there a fix for this issue? I am using Ver 6.5.1. (Build 16331 2025-05-05).
Thanks! Dave

Re: Advanced Site Settings Dialog Box Missing Left Side Tree

Thanks for your report. Do you have multiple monitors? If you have, what is their setup? Layout, relative position, resolution, scaling. On which of them are you using WinSCP?

Advanced site settings do appear when on main monitor!

Hi, I had the same problem. I had moved to a new laptop and upgraded to the latest version but the Advanced tree with all the settings in had gone. I thought it was a laptop and/or version issue, but it was the second monitor. When I move WinSCP over to my main monitor, everything appears as it should :)
To answer your question Martin: What is their setup?
  • Layout – laptop on left as monitor 1, monitor on right as monitor 2
  • Relative position – Next to each other, with monitor 2 slightly higher
  • Resolution – 2880 x 1800 (recommended)
  • Scaling – 200% (recommended)
Hope that helps!

Re: Advanced site settings do appear when on main monitor!

@cherrydc: Thanks for the details!
Do you have the same scaling and resolution on both laptop display and the external monitor? By main monitor, do you mean the laptop display? Which display/monitor is set as primary one?

Sorry, those settings were for monitor 1 (my laptop and primary display). Monitor 2 has a scale of 100% (recommended) and resolution of 1920 x 1080 (recommended). Happy to provide more info or screen prints as needed.
