Multiple connections during "keep remote directory up to date" transfers

Hello,

Enabling multiple parallel background transfers allows me to more or less triple my speed when uploading multiples files to a remote server via SFTP. The benefit maxes out at ~4 parallel transfers.

This works well when I drag and drop multiple files/folder to the remote directory and let the queue work its magic.

However, when I'm in "keep remote directory up to date" mode and a bunch of new files/directories are detected, the transfer doesn't seem to use parallel transfers and my speed stays at baseline (same as with one file)

Please find attached a log file with the following actions:

1) 5 files are changed in "keep remote directory up to date" mode and transfer speed is baseline. I stopped it after the 1st files transferred to save time.
2) I manually drag and drop the remaining 4 files to the remote directory and multiple parallel transfers happen with speed ~4x baseline.

Using WinSCP 5.17.9 Portable

Thank you for your help

Benjamin

Indeed, the "keepuptodate" functionality cannot make use of multiple connections currently.

Does anybody know if this combination of 1) folder monitoring and 2) multiple connection for single transfer even exist in another freeware or commercial product with UI ?
