Thank you for troubleshooting that. I fixed my doc path to remove that extra \ and now my original install of WinSCP is working again.

Re: Windows 11 PC, no Window opens

Your Windows Documents folder path is misconfigured as C:\Users\username\\Documents. I've fixed WinSCP to be able to cope with that:
Issue 2330 – Hang when opening path with duplicated backslash
But you might want to fix your Windows configuration anyway, as it might bite you elsewhere later.
I'm sending you an email with a development version of WinSCP.

Thanks for your report.
I have sent you an email with a debug version of WinSCP to the address you have used to register on this forum.

Windows 11 PC, no Window opens

Hi all,
Having an issue starting WinSCP in Windows 11 24H2 with a single monitor. Downloaded and installed WinSCP 6.3 today.

After starting from the desktop shortcut, nothing happens. Task manager shows a process running but there's no taskbar icon or window open. I tried all the suggested steps here, https://winscp.net/eng/docs/faq_no_window, but it made no difference.

No errors in Event viewer either.

Any suggestions?
Thanks.
