daylight saving time causes WINscp to start uploading all previously opened but unchanged files

WinSCP is running mostly always on my machine which is on 24/7. I had opened many remote files in my external editors (phpstorm or UltraEdit) during the last months via WinSCP. Most I had already closed in my editor but WINScp was still tracking them in my temp folder. When daylight saving time began on 28th of march at 2 am (advancing to 3 am) WinSCP detected that all files that had ever been opened had changed (they had not of course) and started uploading them to the remote site. This caused serious problems because it replaced newer remote files uploaded by others.

This problem exists for years and surfaces both at the start and the end of daylight saving, So twice a year. This year I forgot to close WinSCP prior the beginning of DST and ran into a lot of trouble after it uploaded old stuff.

WinSCP 5.17.8 Build 10803 (but this problem is not new in this version, I have noticed it for a few years now)
Windows 7 Enterprise SP1
