FIXED: Upgrade Error for In-Place Install to 5.17.8 on Windows Server 2016

This morning I turned on logging and was able to get this to self-install. Sorry for the alarm and I appreciate the quick response. Like an old Dodge, this "fixed itself".

Thank you for such a great product.

What you start the installer, do you get the UAC (Administrator privileges) prompt?

Can you post the installer log file?
(use /log command-line switch – see https://winscp.net/eng/docs/installation#automating).

Upgrade Error for In-Place Install to 5.17.8 on Windows Server 2016

I am running WinSCP version 5.17.7 (Build 10640) on Windows Server 2016. I get a pop up window requesting an update to 5.17.8. I've attempted this a couple times and am getting this error: "Cannot upgrade WinSCP DeleteFile failed; code 5".

The only file listed is:

D:\Program Files (x86)\WinSCP\WinSCP.exe

How can I fix this and get my version of WinSCP to the latest version?
