I'm just exploring WinSCP -- looks like a *wonderful* tool :-)
But, per the Windows GUI standard, the "Commands -> Synchronize" menu options should have a trailing "..." after it, letting the user know that Synchronization won't happen immediately if they choose it.
I was afraid to choose that option for fear I'd kick off a process for which I wasn't sure what options were in effect...
