Ok, I already thought that this would be hard to implement and I agree that this isn't reasonable.

Where did you find it? :)

Whoooops...
I recently installed Win 7 and thought that I had a somewhat recent version of WinSCP in my local archive. Apparently I was wrong
In the current version the copyright is indeed 2013 :D

Apparently, WinSCP removes it's temp files on shutdown, which is basically a good thing, but here it causes a problem.

Unfortunately there's no way to detect the file is still needed. At least not in general. In WinSCP-WinSCP interaction, the two instances can cooperate to handle this. But that would be a huge change for a small benefit.

Do you know that with newer versions of WinSCP you can transfer between servers within one instance?

Bug when transferring files between servers and using discon

Hi,

I transferred a file from one server to the other using two separate windows of WinSCP 3.7.4 (on Win7, SP1, 64-bit) and had the "disconnect when operation finishes" option checked. This worked as expected but then the second/receiving WinSCP instance complained about the transferred file missing from the temp directory. Apparently, WinSCP removes it's temp files on shutdown, which is basically a good thing, but here it causes a problem.

As a workaround I cannot use the disconnect feature, though it would be nice if this could be changed if possible.

Lars
