I am unable to verify the email address because I cannot find a way to view my profile.

Hello forum,
At some point one of the recent version releases must have broke the function that remembers the last used local directory.
I have the appropriate option checked in the site preferences but it does not work.
I know it used to work but I can't pinpoint when it stopped working.
I did not mess with any settings.
I use the Commander layout.
Configuration is stored in the windows registry.
Is this a known issue or is there something else I need to do ?
