You are confusing FTP active/passive mode with binary/ascii mode. These are different things and can be combined in any way.

hi, im a noob at Winscp and i need help..

i have a script to automate the download of .JPA file on an remote server.
the JPA file must be downloaded in binary mode ( if you could say so ), my problem is that it keeps downloading the .jpa file in passive mode.
i have tried using get -transfer=binary *.jpa and option transfer binary. but nothing

Any suggestion are welcome :)
