No it won't.

What version of WinSCP? What protocol, SCP or SFTP? Upload or download? Binary, text or automatic transfer mode? Does target file exists prior to transfer, ie. does overwrite confirmation dialog shows up? Do you use drag&drop? If you do, where do you drag from and where do you drop to?
