Really? I'm sure I tried it with the latest 4.x version last week, and it didn't produce an XML log at all.

It is available in 4.x too. But definitelly was not in 4.1.8 yet. Please upgrade.

I believe XML Logging was only introduced in the v5.x beta versions.

XML Logging not working
I am running a WinSCP script through an SSIS task, and need to have the results of that script logged in XML format. I have enabled logging, but the results in my log are always in the session log format, never in XML. I have not been able to find anywhere in the documentation (and believe me, I have looked long and hard) how to specify that I want the output in XML format. My log file does have the .xml extension, but I am at a loss as to what else I need to do to make the contents of the log file be written in XML format. I am using v4.1.8 (build 415). If anyone can tell me what I'm doing wrong, I'd greatly appreciate it.
