Re: Organizing stored sessions
This issue has been added to tracker.
I would like to see a folder organization of sessions too please. Just a simple folder org would help me considerably.
Its a great product, and I use it with about 20 - 30 machines.
I might have to login with 2 different logins - depending on the purpose.
I understand and appreciate this feature. But would it be possible to create this "shell folder" with multiple stored sessions inside so that if I drop a file on the "folder" it would open multiple sessions and distribute files to all endpoints simultaneously, instead of having to drag and drop for each of the shell icons. Thanks
Both is poossible, see Shell icon button on Stored sessions tab of login dialog.
This would be a great benifit if we can get folder organization
if we can then create shell icons for those folders. We would then be able to drag and drop to folder icon and distribute files to those saved sessions.
It'd be good to store the sessions as suggested in a folder (default in the winscp directory?). Alternatively in an .ini file, so they can be easily copied to another PC. Copying them from registry is a pain!
