Under windows, you have an api to make http call with internet explorer settings.

Have see to functions: WinHttpOpen, WinHttpGetIEProxyConfigForCurrentUser :)

There are no such plans yet. I may consider it :-)

Are there any plans to add a username/password field to the proxy configuration for checking if there are updates available? I must provide this to successfully authenticate and as a result the check for updates does not work for me. Cheers.
