Thanks for your post.

I have added this request to the tracker:
Issue 2465 – Easy way to view (or even edit) local and remote directories of stored site
You can vote for it there.

I think it would be helpful to all users to see what directories the configuration will take them to - source and destination. My destination changes every month as I need to keep monthly data ingestion files together and the steps necessary to update destination directory is a bit irksome. Also, because I connect to several remote server directories depending upon the task i am working on, I have several saved sessions just to point to the correct source/destination folders - I'd like to see that before I connect to confirm in my mind I am going to the correct locations before connection is made and directories are shown. Thanks! LOVE WinSCP!

Ok, we will consider it.

Hello Martin,

It's not a big deal, I would just:

• View (and edit*) the pair of linked directory without diving in the Advanced window.

• View the most important data for a site item.

*When I have to rename the directories.
Thank you and regards

I understand that you want to edit the directories on the Login dialog. But why do you need to edit those fields so often, that it would justify moving specifically those two (out of dozens of other fields) to the Login dialog.

Hi,
A : window LOGIN in my screenshot.
B : window ADVANCED SITE SETTINGS in my screenshot.
Fields : Remote and Local directory fields in my screenshot.

Move: Remove the fields in window B and add them in window A (session area).
Add: Just add the fields in window A (session area), to edit them without going to window B.

I would like to edit the fields directly in the window A (session area).
Thanks and regards.

What is your use case?
What is the difference between your "add" and "move" suggestions?

Dear Dev Team,
Please, can you add* the LOCAL and REMOTE directories in the Session area of the Login/Site manager window?

*Or move from the Advanced Site Settings window
Regards,
Sam
