Before posting, please read how to report bug or request support effectively.
Bug reports without an attached log file are usually useless.
PowerRequestDisplayRequired
would supposedly keep the display on and that may not be wanted here either. Anyway, could use PowerRequestDisplayRequired
with a notice and then users manually turn off the display. It's something.
PowerRequestDisplayRequired
(see Any API to prevent Windows 8 from going into connected standby mode?) is the only proper way to prevent halting the transfer, without the need of admin rights.
