Hi Martin, thanks for the response.
Perhaps a little bit of my background will help. I've been working on computers for 60 years, and was at one time an IT manager for government. Then I left IT far behind and did other things for 20 years, before retiring. However, since I retired, have been dabbling in some private hobby websites using PHP, MySQL, Javascript etc. So I'm not a novice but am not a professional either, so expect a somewhat casual approach that might horrify you but it suits my needs.
Have recently purchased a new laptop so am just getting used to Windows 11
- I believe the .ini was in %Appdata, along with the winSCP.exe. However, Explorer on Win11 is no more helpful in finding things than it was on Win10, so I may have deleted it
- Previous version of WinSCP was, I believe, 6.36 according to the downloads I have been able to find
Update on progress here: I have managed to manually eliminate OneDrive references from the defaults here and have my website up and running so things are back on track. However, what I liked about "upgrading" WinSCP was that in less than a minute, I would be up and running again. With this recent change, it has taken me an hour or so. Am not encouraged to upgrade in future!
