Can't search directory names including space in 6.5

Since updating to 6.5, one small but significant (for me) feature has stopped working. In commander interface, I usually navigate directories by just clicking into the local or remote window, and then typing the name of the directory. Most of my directory names contain spaces, but this has not been a problem until 6.5. In this latest version, the seeking seems to stop after a space. In the attached screen shot, for example, I actually typed American Idol but it stops at the word American and any further characters do not affect the searching.

Using WinSCP 6.5 (Build 16288 2025-03-31) with “Commander” interface on Windows 10 Pro Version 22H2.

Thank you for consideration.
