Re: WinSCP hangs while trying to connect to linux folder containing 23 lakh files

Please attach a full session log file showing the problem (using the latest version of WinSCP).

To generate the session log file, enable logging, log in to your server and do the operation and only the operation that causes the error. Submit the log with your post as an attachment. Note that passwords and passphrases not stored in the log. You may want to remove other data you consider sensitive though, such as host names, IP addresses, account names or file names (unless they are relevant to the problem). If you do not want to post the log publicly, you can mark the attachment as private.

WinSCP hangs while trying to connect to linux folder containing 23 lakh files

I'm trying to connect to a Linux server using WinSCP and able to connect to home directory but when I'm switching to /data/recordins1 directory which has 777 permissions, WinSCP keeps loading for 18 mins in SFTP protocol and for 15 mins in SCP protocol but doesn't list any files and closes session unexpectedly. How to fix it? I tried changing session time out value and duration of automatic reconnect in endurance option but no luck. Help me fix this

WinSCP version 6.3.3
