It indeed looks like your server supports key authentication only. Why are you trying a password?

I have successfully connected to the external host, setup the account as username & password, tried to connect using WinSCP 6.1.2 and get 'Authentication Error' - is this forcing me to use a certificate? - thanks for any assistance
