I believe that the section of documentation, I've pointed you to above, explains very specifically how to "Manually type in the file path" – Exactly what you have asked for. If it not enough for you, you will have to bother telling us, what exactly is unclear...

Download the hidden /httplog file from root

This is the instructions from my webhost to download my compressed web logfile.
The log file directory is hidden, so it will not be immediately visible when you log. Manually type in the file path and hit enter: /httplog in your FTP client to access the log file directory.

Manually type it in where? I hit every button on the interface.

Appreciate your wisdom...
