I've suggested you to enable (check) the option. Not to uncheck it.

C:\Arun\Documents
.
C:\Arun\Documents
. Then I changed the local directory for remoteServer2 to C:\Arun\Pictures
.
C:\Arun\Documents
C:\Arun\Pictures
C:\Arun\Pictures
. But the local directory is shown as C:\Arun\Documents
. Now I opened a session to remoteServer1 and the local directory stayed at C:\Arun\Documents
. When I opened a session to remoteServer2, the local directory changed to C:\Arun\Pictures
.
C:\Arun\Pictures
, then no matter which remote server I connect to, the local directory should stay at C:\Arun|Pictures
. Now, when I change the local directory to C:\Arun\Documents
, then WinSCP should save it. Next time, when I launch WinSCP, the local directory should stay at C:\Arun\Documents
and the same local directory should be used no matter which remote server I open a session to. This is the behavior in FileZilla and I cannot find a way to do this in WinSCP. WinSCP keeps a track of local directory on a per session basis and keeps changing it automatically. I have, on numerous occasions, ended up downloading files from remote servers to wrong local directory because WinSCP changed the local directory. Kindly help.
