Option to allow invalid S3 bucket names?

I am working on a project that has an S3 bucket name with underscore (I realize that the bucket naming rules prohibit this character) and I am unable to access this through WinSCP.

Is there any way to bypass the 'InvalidBucketNameCharacter' to allow access to this bucket?
