It seems that you are referring to some Text/Code editor application. This is support forum for WinSCP SFTP/FTP client. While WinSCP also have a simple integrated text editor, it does not do syntax highlighting and it never did.

Maybe you are using some external editor from WinSCP. Please contact support of your editor software. We cannot help you with that.

Before upgrading to 8 Pro tags such as <div> and </div> were colored blue if all was well between the tags. If there was an issue between the tags the background color for the tags was red.

Where in the settings or options can I set this?
