Re: Opened files deleted in background and UI flashes black

Thanks for your report.

Can you send me an email, so I can send you back a debug version of WinSCP to track the problem? Please include a link back to this topic in your email. Also note in this topic that you have sent the email. Thanks.

Opened files deleted in background and UI flashes black

Hi,

since recently I've got some issues with this great program.

One thing I noticed is, that the menu bars in the program turn black and reappear after one second. This concerns only the top menu, not the navigation pane. When this happens, temporary downloaded files for editing disappear. This results in Notepad++ reporting the file as being removed and whether I want to keep the copy open or close it.

This occurs when opening more than one file. One file stays open (and can be found in the file system) while the second one gets deleted immediately after opening. When I switch between the two files in Notepad++, as soon as I return to the previous file the message pops up, whether I want to keep the copy open, since the original has been deleted.

Overall, it seems, as if WinSCP loses the connection to my RaspberryPi briefly and removes the file in the background.

Any guidance where I can maybe see the log files of what is happening to pinpoint the problem?
